Ahhh...Hansi Hinterseer....where to begin, where to begin.... Ummm, in spite of the fact that I have a thing about all things heimat, and the fact that listening to him is a bit of a gulity pleasure (sort of like watching re-runs of Lawrence Welk, the Brady Bunch, Meatloaf and mashed potatoes...drinking Tang...it's schmaltzy, it's treacly.....it's the fun that you roll around in, get stinky with, and relish..... but not a guilty pleasure that you brag about to friends.....). Sooooo, Hansi. Yeah, I do have a copy of the 2005 "Weihnachten mit Hansi" CD....of course I do...lol. I could post it...gehhh, I probably will.....so there.
It's the Hansi IMAGE that I can't get with......sorry. The aging Austrian skier champion thing going on.....that HAIR....those white, fluffy boots....the fact that he looks like an Austrian doppleganger of Derek Longmuir, from the Bay City Rollers.......... ;0
Ok, I'm done ranting.....yeah, I'll get to that post before Christmas....lol...........I could never ignore a request, anyhow.....I love getting them. (Oh, and Mr. Anchovy......I am working on getting more Hammond B3 organ stuff together for a list......I'm not ignoring that, fer sure!!)
Now, I imagine that if Hansi had a dog, it would be a big, strong healthy German Sheppard, or something like that........but, if ever there were a dog that REMINDED me of Hansi Hinterseer.....this would have to be the dog ;) (sorry, I couldn't help it........it's those BOOTS.....)
