Hey....looking at a bunch of postings for the rest of the week.............

Long weekend, hereabouts.........My daughter and I took in a badly dehydrated and hungry abandoned ferret that we found outside of our place on Friday. She's coming along well, and is doing much better, now.  Sarah has named her Ms. April, or just April love for short. I shudder at the thought.....Ms. April sounds like a Playmate of the Month.........April Love sounds like a Pat Boone song/movie. (No, I'm not going to be a buzz-kill and mention that to her....the sarcasm would go straight over her 12 year old head). Personally, I was aiming to name her either Betty (as in Hutton), or Martha Raye......no, Sarah didn't "get" those names, either :0

In any event, Saturday I volunteered at the Chicago Marathon.........long day there, too. I'll be back on Tuesday. Look for lists to come from Chick Webb, McKinney's Cotton Pickers, Chick Bullock, Art Hickman, Gus Arnheim, Jean Goldkette....more R&B....maybe some Jan Savitt, Bing Crosby, Bunny Berigan.........more cajun....Bob Wills and some other western swing....I don't know....maybe a lot of different stuff.
