  1. I am hiding behind the sofa now.

Have you reached Bowie's "Helden" and anything by Nina Hagen (e.g. the early fluff "Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen")?

And then there are Red Balloons and a Little Peace, u.v.a. ...

And don't forget "Herr" Lennie Hastings ;; :-O

  2. Hahaha! It was for a friend who's in a Chicago band that does Schlager...strictly '60s-early '70s fluff, here! Ahhh, noooo, not the Bowie Scheiß-fest, God-awful Peter Gabriel, or Nena. I do, however, have a soft spot (probably on my head) for "Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen" that goes back to when I was about 10 years old and loved the song :0

  3. Cheesy and smarmy....It's one of those strange closet tastes like being a Carpenters fan, turning up the radio loud when "Sugar Sugar" by The Archies plays, or the equivalent.... ;)
