Suzy Parker

  1. This post would be far more interesting if you had given us some biological information. Model? Wife of a famous person? Singer? Athelete? Actress? Playboy centerfold? Why should I care about Suzy Parker?

  2. Ahhh....very true. Sorry about that, and wrong in my assumption that everyone would recognize that face. Suzy Parker was, other than Dorian Leigh (her sister). Lisa Fonssagrives, Carmen Dell'Orefice, and a few others, one of the first "supermodels". Possibly one of the most iconic images of the '50s, Suzy was everywhere in print ads and photographic modeling in that era. Hope that helps. Oh, and she was in several films, and some TV from the late 50s-mid 60s. Here's a Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzy_Parker

  4. Thanks for letting know that! I really do wish more folks would post when that happens, so I appreciate it very much. I can get that up and running by tomorrow, if you want to check back by the afternoon. :)

  6. No doubt! A Mad Men's dream! excellent! She was the iconic advertising image of the '50s-early '60s. I don't know her dress size, but she was at least 5'10"-11". Her sister, Dorian Leigh was equally iconic, though a few years before her.
