If you've not seen me for a bit......taking a retrenching and retooling break

Some changes are in order....been gone for a month or so, but not forever. Doing a bit of retrenching and retooling....putting this in order takes a lot of work, and I sorely needed a break for real life,family and the job.....Thanks. :)

    you are very generous with your music...in a weird world, i wake up and go 'garage sale-ing' for scattered songs...its sites like yours that really bring the music and its context to life...i recently turned 40 and although this music, and its culture, is long gone I plan my bit to keep the songs alive, because frankly: 3 minutes, real instruments, talent....they can't be beat! your karma will serve you well :)

    Hey- do what you gotta! I just discovered this place and am thrilled. Thank you so much for the Mary Lou Williams! Never thought I'd find any more of her any more, and still dream of the day that I can get Black Christ on vinyl. I have only one teensy query upon your return..... what ever happened to those 78s from Hawaii you were gonna post? hahaha
