  1. My mom took me to see "The Biggest Rock'n'Roll Show Of '56" at the armory in Tampa. Bill included Bo Diddley, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Lavern Baker, Bill Haley & The Comets, Big Joe Turner, the Teen Queens, the Platters and the Drifters. A young Clyde McPhatter, home on leave, sang with them in his uniform.
