Aretha Franklin 1956....The recordings from New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit


Recorded at The New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan in 1956.  Here is the collection of recordings (originally recorded for the JVB label) made by Aretha Franklin as a teenager in her father's church in Detroit. A rare view of Aretha Franklin's early years as a gospel singer. 

She was only 14 years old when she sang these were recorded.
