I hate Christmas radio..............

Chicago has one of the lamest radio stations in existence. 93.9....the Light. The slogan is "Turn on the light" (obviously 'cuz there ain't no one freakin' home!!....the set list normally repeats itself every couple of days...no DJ needed....lots of Celine Dion, Air Supply, and modern adult contemporary pablum). Well, that's for 10 months out of the year, the remaining 2 months are Christmas....24 hours per day. Not actually any good Christmas music....just their usual artists, warbling on and on, and ruining a perfectly good holiday for those of us who actually DO like the occasional Xmas carol, provided it is sung by someone talented. My daughter and I turn it on in the car to sing along intentionally badly with all the thin-voiced, minor Country stars, and the endless repetition of "Give Peace a chance" (by everyone OTHER than Lennon), and the near hourly playing of "Do they know it's Christmas?" (An export that England can have back, IMHO)...Do they know it's Christmas?? the most ridiculous lyric I've ever heard....No, they're Muslim and starving in Africa....I doubt they care that it's Christmas, George Michael and company.......whatever....I'm done ranting....sorry....lol!!

Does every city have one of these stations? and does everyone like this sh*t but me?? just wondering....
